Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is Devil's Backbone safe for pets and children?
Like many plants in the Euphorbia family, its milky sap can cause mild skin irritation and stomach upset if ingested. Keep it out of reach of curious pets and young children, and wear gloves when pruning.
Why are the stems growing in a zigzag pattern?
That’s its signature natural growth habit! The stem changes direction at each leaf node, giving the plant its distinctive "zigzag" or "Devil's Backbone" shape.

I ordered this along with a few indoor plants. Arrived in perfect condition with zero damage to the zigzag stems. It’s growing so fast on my veranda and gets direct morning sun. Really happy with the quality from Tizardin!
