As a houseplant , Cordyline Fruticosa is cultivated for its lush, colorful foliage, preferably carried by a short trunk. The leaves, clearly petiolate, are 30 to 60 cm long and 2 to 10 cm wide, depending on the horticultural varieties. Their natural color is dark green, but the most commonly sold are in shades of pink, purple, or even almost black. It can be indoor as well as outdoor.
