Banana tree (Cavendish Banana Plant) can be planted throughout the year except in winter.

The ideal time (October-November), after the monsoon season.

Banana tree need full sun exposure for best growth and fruit growth.

However, banana plants do tolerate light shade.

Firstly, Bananas have a false stem (called pseudostem). 

Pseudostem can grow to be two to eight meters tall. 

Banana leaves may grow 2.7 Mt (8.2feet) long and 60cm wide (2.0ft).
