Slipper Orchid Plant Care

- Well-draining soil mix of bark and moss.
- Water them sparingly, allowing the medium to dry slightly between watering's, and maintain a consistent moisture level without overwatering.
Fertilizer
- Rich soil may not require fertilizer.
- Consider a yearly spring application of granular organic fertilizer.
- Optionally, use quarter-strength liquid fertilizer every 7-10 days from spring to mid-August.
- Annual lime dusting helps in acidic or neutral soils.
Planting
- Plant buds just below the surface (1/2 inch deep).
- Spread roots in the top four inches of soil.
- Protect roots from sun and drying wind.
