Breadfruit is a tropical fruit is from the same family as mulberry and jackfruit trees  and commonly known as fruit a pain in French, native to Mauritius.

The fruit is characterized by its lumpy appearance and potato-like flesh, and it can be eaten at all stages of growth, with the flavor and texture changing depending on its maturity and preparation.

 Breadfruit or "Fruit à Pain" in French,  is rich in complex carbohydrates, fiber, and minerals, and is an excellent source of potassium, Vitamin C, and B vitamins.

To care for breadfruit, it requires abundant, bright and direct light, and should be watered every 9 days.

It can be grown in a variety of soils, as long as they are well-draining. Fertilization is recommended every 3-4 months with a balanced fertilizer.
