Water thoroughly only when the top 2 inches (5 cm) of soil feel dry to the touch. Because Euphorbia milii is a succulent, it stores water in its thick stems and is highly drought-tolerant. Avoid overwatering or letting the pot sit in standing water to prevent root rot.
Does this plant need direct sunlight to flower?
Yes. For continuous blooming, place your Euphorbia milii in a spot that receives at least 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. While it can survive in partial shade, insufficient sunlight will reduce flower production.
